My Journey
From Kenya to Berlin, building impactful solutions
I've always been fascinated with how things work, and I was that kid that always took things apart to figure out patterns or just to fix something. I got interested with computers at 18 years old where I learnt some basics of typing and mouse clicks. For me, these moments were amazing and sparked curiousity in me.
That's when I decided instead of some old engineering courses I ventured into Computer Science to understand the computer brain. The journey got interesting and I got absorbed into the software side and thereafter met some brilliant people who helped shape my path to amazing companies such as Andela, Incentro, Scrums.com.
At the explosion of AI, I decided i really wanted to understand how ai is working behind the scenes, this path led me to Berlin, Germany where computer vision and robotics captured my imagination. Now I'm deep in research, building real robots, and expanding horizons I didn't know existed
With my love for solving problems, I joined an ambitious founder to co-create Alma (part of AI Nation), trauma-informed AI helping GBV survivors navigate life with dignity. The journey from that kid taking things apart to building solutions that helps people navigate life challenges
